From the city to the ranch, we express our western spirit by proudly handcrafting truly authentic boots. Each pair pays homage to our past while adding contemporary elements, functionality, and comfort. The Retail Sales Associate role is the foundation of our success at Alberta Boot. Our Associates are the experts responsible for engaging and connecting with our guests, sharing top-quality product education, and speaking authentically about our community, culture, and Alberta Boot's western heritage. Job Location: Southcentre Mall (100 Anderson Road SE, Calgary, AB, T2J 3V1) Hours of work: Part-Time Seasonal - Shifts are scheduled for 15-25 hours per week. Standard mall hours are as follows: Monday: 10:00am-8:00pm, Tuesday: 10:00am-8:00pm, Wednesday: 10:00am-8:00pm, Thursday: 10:00am – 9:00pm, Friday: 10:00am-9:00pm, Saturday: 10:00am-8:00pm, Sunday: 11:00am-6:00pm Subject to changes for holiday hours. Primarily weekends, with occasional evenings, weekdays, and overtime. Experience: Previous work experience in a retail or fashion environment is considered an asset Area of specialization: Customer Service/Sales/Fashion Worksite environment: Retail Location/Customer Experience Centre Work conditions and physical capabilities: Moves throughout the store for most of the shift to best assist guests and accomplish tasks. Able to move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. (13.6 kg) Weight handling: Able to lift 30 lb. occasionally. Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Accuracy, Good Judgement Key Responsibilities: • Interact with guests by guiding them through different styles and fits of boots, providing product education and the boot fitting experience. • Facilitate a seamless end-to-end guest experience by conducting accurate and timely guest transactions and supporting market-relevant omnichannel programs (e.g., ship from store, phone sales) according to company standards. • Receive guest feedback and partner with store leadership to take appropriate action and “make it right” for guests. • Perform product presentation tasks (e.g., put items back in place, restock or add boots to the floor from inventory, destock or relocate items) according to company standards. • Use in-store technology to support store operations and provide positive guest experiences. • Perform cleaning tasks as needed throughout the shift to maintain the luxury environment of the store. • Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. • Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations.
