The magic of the season is back at Southcentre. Step into The Enchanted Forest, a whimsical and heartwarming experience where families can meet Santa in a beautiful, interactive holiday setting.
New this year, we are using a simplified booking system to help everyone capture their best Santa memories. You have two options*:
- Advance booking. Limited spots are available online. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time.
- Visit The Enchanted Forest to select a same-day time slot. This option offers greater availability throughout the day and is highly recommended. Once you register with the host, your name will be added to the queue, and you can continue enjoying your mall visit. You’ll receive real-time updates and notifications via SMS or email, keeping you informed of your position in line. When Santa’s ready, you’ll get a message to return for your magical visit!

A friendly experience for everyone
Santa believes every child should experience the joy of the holidays in a way that feels comfortable and inclusive. Peace of Mind Visits are designed for children and families with sensory sensitivities, mobility challenges, immune considerations, or other unique needs—offering a calm and welcoming environment to meet Santa.

Get ready to make this holiday season unforgettable with Paws with Claus! Bring your furry friends to Southcentre Mall after mall hours for a special photo session with Santa and create magical memories that you’ll cherish forever.
Please keep in mind that there will be other pets present during your time slot. We kindly request your cooperation in maintaining a comfortable environment for everyone. While we strive to have each session as stress-free as possible, remember you are in a public setting.
We encourage all pet owners to arrive as close to their scheduled time slot as possible to minimize interactions with other pets. To ensure the safety and comfort of all animals, please leash or safely contain your pets until your session begins, and follow the guidance provided by Santa’s team.
Donations of new or lightly used items and unopened food products will be accepted on-site to be donated to the Calgary Humane Society.
Pet Guidelines
- Only dogs and cats are welcome – no other animals are permitted.
- You must enter and exit through the South Entrance by Crate & Barrel using the elevator by Sport Chek.
- All pets must be on a leash, in a pet carrier, or held by the owner at all times.
- Owners must immediately clean any “messes”.
- All animals must be current on vaccinations.
- Aggressive/dangerous animals are not permitted.
- Santa set staff, mall management, and security have the discretion to turn away animals if they do not fit the above guidelines or appear aggressive toward people or other animals.

When does Santa arrive?
Santa begins greeting guests on Friday, November 14. The Enchanted Forest hours are available here.

Where is the Enchanted Forest located?
Visit Santa on the Lower Level in Centre Court. The closest entrance is the South Entrance between Crate & Barrel and Sport Chek. Get directions here.

Can I visit Santa without making a reservation or buying a photo package?
Of course! Book your appointment or visit the elves at the Enchanted Forest for walk-in availability. Once you check-in with the elves, we welcome you to take photos within the Santa-scape while you wait to visit Mr. Claus. Personal photography with Santa is not permitted.

Are walk-ins allowed?
Walk-ins will be accommodated through same-day registration depending on availability. Please check in with the elves at the Enchanted Forest to secure a same-day slot.

What photo packages are available?
Families can choose from several photo packages that include professional prints and digital copies. View photo packages here.

How do I book a visit with Santa?
You have two options:
- Online Booking: Appointments can be reserved in advance through the online booking system here.
- Same-Day Booking: Register with the elves at the Enchanted Forest. You'll be entered into a virtual line and will receive updates and reminders by text or email when it’s your turn. Enjoy shopping, dining, or exploring the mall while you wait!

What should I do if I can’t find an appointment online?
For regular Santa visit, when online bookings are full, daily appointments are held for same-day booking on-site. You can visit the Enchanted Forest set in person, check for availability, and register for that day’s virtual line. Same-day visits do not apply to Paws with Claus.

How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Please view the booking confirmation email (psst.. search 'enchanted forest' in your inbox) to cancel or reschedule.

How can I book photos with my pet(s)?
Paws with Claus pet sessions must be booked online only during specific pet-friendly time slots. No walk-ins are available for pet photos. Book your spot here. No spots left? Check back at a later date to see if there's been a cancellation.

Do you offer Santa visits for children with special needs or sensory sensitivities?
For Peace of Mind Visits, families can contact our photo provider directly to arrange a personalized experience tailored to their needs. Please email believeimaging@gmail.com.

Does Santa work for Southcentre Mall?
Southcentre Mall works with a third-party company, Believe Imaging, to deliver the Santa experience. Together, Believe Imaging and Southcentre make sure every guest has a wonderful, memorable visit. If you have any additional questions, you can contact us at mailto:info@southcentremall.com.

Something sweet is baking at Southcentre! The Cookie Kitchen returns soon — where every delicious decorating adventure helps support local families.
Located next to Santa’s Enchanted Forest on the Main Level, across from RW&Co., guests will be able to decorate their own cookie in exchange for a donation to Made by Momma.

The elves are getting ready! As of December 1st, you can visit The Gift Wrap Factory near the North Entrance, just underneath the escalators, where our skilled volunteers will turn your gifts into beautifully wrapped masterpieces — all in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
